Candidate Requirements

This training course is designed for personnel who are involved in carrying out planned maintenance and inspection of in-use portable lifting equipment.  Delegates will be trained in the different inspection methods used and to understand the rejection criteria for Lifting Equipment Inspection. The requirements of the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PEWER)along with other relevant legislation are explained in relation to Lifting Equipment Inspections.
