This course prepares participants to deliver manual handling training in the workplace. It covers anatomy, safe lifting, risk assessment, and legal requirements under Irish health and safety legislation.

On completion, participants will be able to deliver effective manual handling training in line with legislation and best practice.

The course is ideal for those wishing to become certified Manual Handling Instructors or for organisations training employees in-house.

All delegates will receive a comprehensive resource pack including PowerPoint, test papers, videos and guidance documents.

Duration

 

Classroom and webinar learning: 5 days

Self based online learners have 90 days to complete the course

Location

 

Available at designated training centres, at customers site for private bookings or by self paced online learning

Candidate Requirements

 

All candidates must have a good understanding of oral and written English.  

Accreditation

 

On successful completion delegates will be awarded a Level 6 Accreditation.

This is a lifetime award.
