Tail Lift Operator Safety Training

This Tail Lift Operator Training course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills to operate vehicle tail lifts safely and efficiently in line with manufacturer instructions and health and safety legislation.

The training covers tail lift functions, safe operating techniques, pre-use checks, basic maintenance, and common hazards. It also includes emergency procedures and safe methods of dealing with breakdowns or malfunctions.

On completion, learners will be able to demonstrate competence in tail lift operation, ensuring safety for themselves, their colleagues, and the loads being handled.

Candidate Requirements

 

Delegates must have good English. Please advise us of any language or learning support needs in advance

Plant & equipment must be available to use, be in good working order, safe to use & have appropriate certification 

PPE as specified / required

Accreditation

 

On successful completion of this course, learners will be awarded a NST Certificate in Tail Lift Operator Safety Training. This will be valid for 3 years.
