Confined Spaces Training (Low to Medium Risk)

This one-day Confined Spaces Training course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to work safely in low to medium risk confined space environments. It includes awareness of confined space hazards, use of gas monitors, safe systems of work, emergency procedures, and the use of entry and escape equipment.

This course is delivered at select training centres, or at customer-nominated locations nationwide (for private group bookings).

10 People per group.

Candidate Requirements

 

Participants should be physically fit and free from any medical condition that might prevent them from entering or working in confined spaces. A good standard of English is required. Please inform us in advance if language assistance is needed.

Accreditation

 

On successful completion of this course, learners will be awarded a NST Certificate in Confined Spaces Training (Low to Medium Risk). This will be valid for 3 years.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this Confined Spaces Training course, participants will be able to:

  • Use gas monitoring equipment correctly
  • Demonstrate safe entry and exit procedures

The Confined Spaces Training Course is delivered through a blend of presentations, group discussion, interactive activities, and practical tasks to ensure knowledge is retained and applied.

ASSESSMENTS

Learners will complete a theory assessment and practical demonstration to confirm understanding of confined space safety principles.
