Manual Handling Training

Our Manual Handling Training course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge to conduct all manual handling activities in a manner that will prevent injury.

Our Manual Handling Training Course is based upon the HSA course guidelines, and is in line with the 2007 Manual Handling Regulations.

In Ireland it is a legal requirement that practical assessments are conducted with and assessed by a QQI Certified Manual Handling Instructor. Theory training alone is not acceptable. Our training meets all legal requirements.

½ Day (2.5 – 3 hours)

Location

 

Group training at our training centre in Dunboyne, by webinar or at customer premises/site nationwide

Individual training at designated training centres

Max Number

 

12 per course

(24 Per Day Per Instructor)

Candidate Requirements

 

Delegates must have a good understanding of English

Delegates should wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the manual handling practical demonstrations

Accreditation

 

On successful completion of this training, delegates will be awarded a NST Accredited Certificate in Manual Handling Safety which is valid for 3 years
