This course develops participants’ skills and qualifications to complete GA1 Reports of Thorough Examination as well as inspection formats under LOLER and PUWER. It combines classroom theory with practical inspection training, giving learners a solid understanding of statutory requirements and hands-on experience in examining plant and machinery.

Delegates will learn inspection procedures, defect identification, hazard recognition, and correct report documentation. The training focuses on compliance, risk control, and record-keeping, ensuring inspections are carried out to the highest standards.

On completion, participants will be deemed content to conduct thorough examinations in line with legislation and industry best practice.
