


Location of Underground Services (LUGS) Training
This CSCS LUGS course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills to safely detect, identify, and avoid underground services during excavation and site works. Trainees will learn how to use detection equipment correctly, interpret service drawings, recognise service markers, and apply safe digging practices to prevent service strikes.
This course is a legal requirement for construction operatives in Ireland who are involved in excavation or groundworks and is also recommended for supervisors, engineers, and safety personnel responsible for managing excavation safety.
